We are on a spiritual journey.
Our souls can feel lost.
Other times, they benefit from some pampering.
Finding North is here for you and your soul.
We join you where you are and find your next step to spiritual freedom.
Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction deepens awareness of one’s self, one’s Source(s), and of this moment.
Our sessions will use silence; breath; embodied wisdom; poetry; divination; and play.
We will either meet in my Minneapolis home or over zoom.
Our sessions will last 1 hour.
We’ll meet every 3-5 weeks.
If we’re a good fit, we’ll discuss fees after our first session.
About Michael
I have childhood memories of staring up and asking, “What do you want? What am I supposed to do?”
Looking for answers, I studied with a psychic in college. After college, I tried out out seminary and church ministry. I still had questions, so I studied Buddhism, Hinduism, Chinese Philosophy, and Cosmology in California. Returning home to Minnesota, I began working with a spiritual director and joined a Presbyterian Church. I’m basically a theological mutt.
Away from Finding North Soulwork, I tell stories, hunt twisty roads on my motorcycle, and goof around with my son and fiancee.
What Drives Me
- Gratitude. Spiritual Direction was invaluable during some big changes.
- Altruism. I wish more people could experience their truest selves and connect with their highest Source(s).
- Hope. Spiritual growth benefits the individual and his/her/their community. It’s a path to a better future.
About You
If you are a Finding North client…
You are transitioning. Something big is brewing. It could be your faith identity and expression, or it could be something that isn’t typically considered spiritual.
You’re curious. You’re willing to consider your experience with tenderness and discernment.
You’re courageous. (Really, you are.) You show up just as you are even despite it feeling messy or scary.
You’re about meaning. You’re interested in making sense of this time, even leveraging it.
You’re looking for company–someone to accompany you, to witness and celebrate your journey, and to eventually speed you on your way.
